FUND 1: INCLUSIVE WOMEN AND

CHILDREN'S HEALTH

Cross-Border Impact Ventures is partnering with Grand Challenges Canada to launch the INCLUSIVE WOMEN AND CHILDREN'S HEALTH Fund 1, a fund investing in transformational Series B+ companies based in the most active medical and technology markets in the world solving the unmet health needs of women and children in high and low-income markets.  We back exceptional teams that have the vision and commitment to bring their solutions to sub-Saharan Africa for inclusive impact.  We target opportunities that offer solutions to conditions like preeclampsia, postpartum hemorrhage,  sepsis, prematurity, and many others, with focus on therapeutics, medical devices & diagnostics, and tech solutions.

Our team works with the most influential healthcare players to scale companies from investment to exit, for return and impact and leverages best practices in gender lens investment principles to get results.  We partner with local management teams, investors, and users to achieve meaningful long-term impact on the African continent.  We also blend our equity capital with non-dilutive finance from our network of global health partners, foundations, and donors to align the interests of all investors and users.  We keep ourselves honest by measuring outcomes according to the high standards developed by Grand Challenges Canada.
